Chehaw is a wonderful place for children to let loose and have fun while learning about the wonders of nature around them. In fall 2023, Chehaw has full day camps for children ages 5-12 running during Fall break.

Each day of camp includes a trip to the zoo, animal encounters, crafts, games, and activities! Children will have fun while learning through hands-on activities.

Camps are available for children ages 5-12. Camp times are from 9a - 3p. Free early drop is at 8 a.m. and AFTER CAMP CARE IS AVAILABLE!! Members get half price After Camp Care.

Oct 12, 13, & 16: Fur-ocious Fiends- Ooky, spooky, weird, and creepy! Spend your fall break learning about some of nature's creepy crawlies. Explore why they get a bad wrap and why despite the shivers they send down your spine these creatures play a vital role in our ecosystem!

Nov 20-22: Chow Down!- Break out the elastic pants. Humans aren't the only critters getting ready for a beast feast! Spend some time exploring the many different feasts animals muster to round up for their dinner tables.
